Tree Plantation on Raksha Bandhan

Radiba Charitable Trust is concerned with the present situation of our environment. And we know that tree is the best solution for keeping our environment free from pollution. So we arrange a program of tree plantation on the Day of Raksha Bandhan, the day a brother makes a promise to a sister to keep her safe from all kinds of danger. We have chosen this day for the plantation program as a tree would be the best gift for a sister and our environment. On this day in our organization premises, after tying Rakhis and performing puja brothers and sisters take part in this program and make promises by planting trees to keep our environment safe. We feel so pleased to see them doing this great enthusiasm and the green around our organization.

We organize several programs like tree plantation and awareness for saving water. Through these programs, Radiba Charitable Trust makes people aware of the endangered situation of our environment.  Whenever this day is about to come we collect seeds and the children of our organization are asked to take with them and throw them wherever they go. So that when the monsoon will appear and it will be easy to spread the greenery and put a little contribution to make our environment greener. We feel that it is our primary duty to make them realize how much trees are important for our environment to keep it liveable.
